OceanPro for Godot
A downloadable tool
OceanPro
OceanPro is a GPU-powered ocean system for Godot 4.7. It is designed for sailing, exploration and coastal games that need a large, moving sea.
OceanPro was originally developed for Portolan, a historically grounded Caribbean sailing game, before being packaged as a reusable Godot add-on.
The ocean uses a three-layer FFT wave simulation, combining long swells, medium waves and small surface ripples. GPU compute shaders handle the wave simulation, foam and surface sampling, while editable GDScript controls setup and gameplay features. No custom C++ extension is required.
Features
• Live wind strength, swell height and separate wind and swell directions
• Large ocean surface that follows the player or camera
• Persistent whitecaps that form, move and fade with the waves
• Foam and wetting where water meets rocks, hulls and other objects
• Surface sampling for wave height, movement and direction
• Ready-to-use buoyancy for boats, buoys and floating objects
• Low, Medium, High and Ultra quality settings
• Full editable GDScript and shader source
What is included
OceanPro Add-on — about 9 MB
The complete runtime, required export plugin and documentation.
OceanPro Example Project — about 304 MB
A complete Godot sample project with OceanPro installed and configured.
Requirements
• Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
• An official Godot 4.7.x stable release
• Forward+ renderer using Vulkan
• A graphics card that supports compute shaders
Current limitations
Version 1.1.0 does not include breaking beach surf, beach run-up, underwater rendering or a public wake-trail system. It supports one ocean per scene. Sea level is the OceanPro node's global Y; the surface can be limited to a rectangle and hidden above a bound seabed. Binary-token script export is supported. Godot 4.6 remains unsupported.

Really impressed with OceanPro so far. The waves look great and add a lot of life and movement to the ocean. It runs really well and is pretty easy to get up and running in Godot!
Thanks so much for the feedback!
Great pack! Backed up by solid support from the vendor. Legit the best realistic ocean system i have come across.
Thanks a lot for your purchase! Glad you were able to integrate it smoothly
